Description: Lanthanum Chloride is soluble in water and acid, slightly soluble in ethanol. A proper amount of lanthanum oxide is dissolved in an excess of 2mol / L HCl, further concentrated after a few hours of heating reaction, and the precipitated crystal is lanthanum chloride hydrate after a few weeks in a desiccator filled with anhydrous calcium sulfate.
