Yttrium Chloride Anhydrous YCl3 CAS 10361-92-9 For Chemical Reagent
Name: anhydrous yttrium chloride, yttrium chloride ultra dry CAS: 10361-92-9
Molecular formula: YCl3 Molecular weight: 195.26
Description: The yttrium oxide or hydroxide is dissolved in hydrochloric acid, evaporated, concentrated, cooled, washed with ethanol to obtain its hexahydrate. The latter is dehydrated at 70 ℃ in the hydrogen chloride gas stream to obtain its monohydrate, and then heated in the helium gas stream at 600 ℃ to obtain the anhydrous yttrium chloride.

Uses: Yttrium chloride can be used to prepare composite coating on resin surface. Yttrium chloride has a certain effect on the apoptosis of human epidermal cells induced by ultraviolet light. The results show that the human epidermal cells cultured with 0.1mmol/l yttrium chloride at low concentration have a certain protective effect on the apoptosis induced by ultraviolet light.
